What ECHO is
ECHO shows enforcement and compliance history for regulated facilities, including public water systems. It can list informal and formal actions, case records, and related compliance flags. It is not the same database as SDWIS.

What we pull
- Public enforcement and compliance history tied to the system
- Retrieval date on every finding
- Cross-check against the PWSID profile and SDWIS violation history
Federal files can trail state files. Reports say so.
What we will not claim
- If we cannot point at the record, we do not say it.
- When the file cannot confirm something, the finding says Unable to Verify. That is not a violation.
- An ECHO row is not a new sample result.
- This is not legal advice. Verify with your primacy agency.
